Clone Existing Novel

Hi, I am a subscriber to this great product.
This isn't a bug in itself but I have completed a novel in Novelcrafter but I wanted to clone it so that I can continue editing it in Novelcrafter. However, the only option I have is to export it to Word file. The issue is that once I import it back as a new novel, the codex is missing so that it is not a real clone. Do you know how I can clone the existing novel in novel crafter itself?

Am eagerly anticipating the development of comprehensive novel cloning, everything, a like for like copy, including the complete text, summaries, beats and codex images.
I've several projects on hold in anticipation of this capability. It would be beneficial to understand the timeline or even if it will ever be feasable, as it will significantly influence my project prioritisation.

I want to redo another a version of my book where it's the same book but revised and reworked so I wanted to clone my book I could t do it no where you can make and use a template what if we could clone books as well I'm sure theres a work around but I want it as a feature if possible

This would be good as I would like the option of rewriting big pieces of my novel while leaving the original text intact. For me, this could be my sandbox, to play in.

My weekend goal is to figure out how to export it and then import it back in and copy codex and things manually so I can have different drafts .. some clone feature would be heaven in the future.
I was going to play with putting the old draft and new draft for editing in a book series and see if that makes the codex carry over the way I want
