Make keywords case sensitive
complete
W
Whisper pink Mammal
I have several codex entries with common nouns, such as Knowledge, Charm etc, and when I use these proper nouns as normal nouns in prose, it calls the codex entry. While it's useful to have them when they're needed, it would be nice if NC could distinguish proper nouns (in upper case) from normal vocab items (lower case).

This has now been added as an experimental feature!

Change Codex Entry Aliases to be Case Sensitive
B
Blank Barracuda
Right now if I have a codex entry alias for say, an organization that is called The Brothers. It will trigger a link even if I use the word 'brothers' without any allusion or intent to the organization.
It would be nice if the Aliases could be case sensitive so that this kind of thing does not happen any longer and the standard form of a word is not linked when only the Capitalized form of the word should be.

Some words are marked as a character
T
Toffee Peafowl
I have a character named Will, but the app identifies the verb will as the character and I have no way to tell the app it's not the character, a contextual menu giving this option would be helpful

Can we have the ability to specify which words are colored in the manuscript?
I
Ivory Dormouse
What I mean by that is I have several characters whose names (nicknames) mainly are common words (i.e. Happy vs happy). Unfortunately, it does not distinguish between a name that is capitalized and a word that is not.
So if maybe we can choose to ignore cases or not? Or something to that effect please.
O
Onyx Pinniped
One problem with that is when codex names are used in the beginning of a sentence vs in the middle of one.
C
Citrine Opossum
Since this is a navigation/display sort of issue only, the solution seems to be that for the duration of writing your novel in NC, you just use a unique spelling for that name, or add an * or -AA or something to the end of the name, and when you're finally done with the story, you just do a global find/replace to change it back to whatever common word it's supposed to be.
E
Easy Ladybug
Or an alternative to "always case sensitive" might be having to click a checkmark to make that particular word case sensitive.
M
Mandarin Gull
Since it's not feasible, just add a codex prefix to your entries, making them unique.

Adding this kind of distinction is technically not easy. i basically need to scan the whole text multiple times. and then you need to have the exact spelling. I don't think this is feasible at all.
