Text filter on dropdown when relating codex entries

When adding a relation to a codex entry, the user is presented with a scrolling list of all codex entries, series and book. This can lead to an extremely long list, and makes it tedious to find the entry you want to link to.
Suggestion: change the simple list widget to one that has buttons to filter by series and/or book (toggles), as well as a text input field that acts like a live filter (much like contact lists on phones work, for instance), narrowing the list to entries whose name matches what the user types (substring, not starting with)
This would make it so much quicker to drill down to the entry you want to link to!

This would be a great help. Right now, I'm utilizing the custom categories feature to get around this, sort of. Name the category A and then tag entries your nesting with a. It's a pain, but it works for now.

Yes. I have a thousand entries in my codex and a considerable number of categories to scroll through. I find it tedious. A search bar at the top of the dialogue that opens up when adding a nested entry would be a real time saver
