Split Scene Command

Would love to see a split scene command. Very often I'll create a scene and fill it with beats, only to realize half way through writing the scene that it really should be two scenes.
I'd love to be able to do a "/" command in writing mode that simply splits the current scene into two scenes. Everything above the command remains in the current scene, everything below the command is split into a new scene that contains all the remaining beats, prose, content, etc.

I frequently run into this same issue. Sometimes what should be one scene becomes 3, 4 or 5. This is an essential feature to avoid the tedious process of manually selecting text from each subsequent scene, cutting, clicking the add scene button, pasting, and repeating until all scenes are properly separated.

We had a bit of a discussion about this in our community discord today and came up with the following (possible) work flow:
- you're in the scene, writing along
- you hit the / key to open the commands menu
- you select "Split scene here"
- it will cut out everything below the cursor and put it into a new scene right after
- the new scene's summary will be blank. the current scene's summary will be kept as is
- the new scene will have the same manual references and labels as the current scene

Stable Lizard
This, but for chapters! I don't tend to have multiple scenes per chapter, but also realize my very long chapter needs to be split into two quite often. Now I have to copy/paste into a new scene, and then split that scene from the chapter (esp if this is all happening in the same act)

Stable Lizard I think we could have this feature for both, and it will work for those with 1 scene chapters and those with several ones.

Ever since I added/switched from another writing tool that has this function I’ve been looking for this on Novelcrafter!
