claude and chatgpt refuse to write
M
Managing Woodpecker
In the book I'm writing, I got to the point after 25,000 words and writing one scene of a wedding night (which didn't have any explicit sexual description)
Both Cloud Model 2 and Chatgpt Model 4.5 refuse to write and give me a warning
Since these are the models I mostly wrote with
It stops all my work...

Moderation Errors in Tinker

When using Claude2 through OpenRouter, I received a moderation error. I modified the text again to be so generic it could not possibly trigger a moderation error, but I still received the error.
When looking at the Payload, it appears that is sending the previous message that triggered the moderation warning in addition to the new updated message. I do not see a mechanism to remove or modify the original message leaving me blocked in this thread.

I'm also seeing this in Write with scene beat prompts. The rejected text that is referenced is not my text, is not in my codex, and is not anywhere in the scene. It's seems like another user's writing.

I'm running into a similar problem. I receive moderation errors referencing self harm. There's nothing in the prompts that can be interpreted as self-harm, but the really odd thing is the error message displays the text that was rejected. It's not my text. I didn't write it, and it's no where in my codex or any other scene.

Secure Horse: Interesting, is this via OpenRouter? If so, I need to report that to them..
S
Secure Horse
spaceemotion: Yes, this is through OpenRouter.

I figured out how to solve it
I marked the AI to ignore the problematic scene
P
Persimmon Grouse
Managing Woodpecker: How did you do that? I'm having the same issue
M
Managing Woodpecker
Persimmon Grouse: The actions that appear on the side below the scene summary have three dots. Stand on them and a dialogue box will open
There is an option there that says "exclude from Ai context"
Mark it on the problematic scenes and then Cloud or other models will ignore them and continue writing other sections

Bastille Grasshopper
Managing Woodpecker: I had to do the same thing in my novel.

Bastille Grasshopper: This is probably the way to "bypass" problematic sections in terms of the moderate models
