I received this message randomly, perhaps a half dozen times while I was writing yesterday, and it has reappeared three times today so far.

Hi there, A "network error" occurs when the connection to Novelcrafter is not quite stable. Please check that:
- if you're on wifi, the problems go away if you use a wired connection
- if you're on wifi, you're not near a microwave or other signal disrupting equipment
- Use a speedtest like https://speed.cloudflare.com/ to see if you got a stable connection in general
- Look on your ISPs website to see if there's a service disruption
