Import Custom Categories From Template

Unexpected Loon
I created a new novel and chose to clone the details from a template story. All of the pertinent information was present. However, I found that my Custom Categories (names, tags, types, and colors) were not present. For repeating the process for multiple novels, this can become a very tedious process that consumes too much time.
Can you include the Custom Category's data in the "Use Template Novel" function? This will make the process more efficient on saving time.
Thank you.

spaceemotion I tried to create a novel with the template feature, and it got everything (structure like names of chapters and acts, the pov presets, the language and the label/markers) but the Codex, custom categories, prose, nor the content of the summaries. Isn't that how this feature works? Or is it bugged?
Edit: I tried to do this looking for a way to clone my codex so I could work on a side series. This would be when universes come in handy, I guess. But going back to my original question: How does this work exactly? (The codex and stuff get "imported" anyway if the book is part of a series, and if you change the series the codex goes POOF if you intend to work in a new series with the same characters and codex entries)

Brave Frog The template feature is not meant to work for continuing a series. That's what series are for. The templates are a way for you to create a default setup that you start new books from.
The custom codex categories should copy over when the "Codex" checkbox is enabled, but it does not copy over categories that belong to a series - it only copies those that have been added to the template novel.

spaceemotion I see, this will be hard to do then. I'll have to make it so it stays on the same series then for the moment, until we get universes, I guess. The template for making an outline pattern will be a good way to create new books, I liked that one. By the way, how do I delete series? I created many to test this feature :s

+1. My story template has grown to dozens of reusable Codex entries (mostly Chat prompts) with multiple custom categories
