Ability to display my 100 novels on a webpage 1) View Modes: -Scalable Grid View: Display the novel covers in a scalable grid. This is ideal when the I want to view the covers and get a visual sense of the collection. -List View: Display my novels in a list format, showing the title (and perhaps a short description, hovered). This view is useful when the number of novels increases and I want a compact view. 2) Markers for Status: Use visual indicators such as badges or icons to denote whether a book is "In Progress", "Completed" (but not yet published) or "Published". 3) Series Grouping: Group together novels that are part of a series through visual borders, backgrounds, or headers to indicate the series name. In the List View, use indentation or a different background color to group series members together. Implementation Suggestions: 1) Grid View: Each book cover is displayed as a thumbnail with a status badge ("In Progress", "Completed", or "Published"). Hovering over a book shows the title and status badge ("In Progress", "Completed", or "Published"). Books in a series can be grouped within a bordered container with the series name at the top. 2) List View: Each book is represented as a row with the title and a small thumbnail of the cover. The status badge of the book is shown next to the title. Series books can be indented under a header row that displays the series name. 3) Responsive Design: On larger screens, more book covers or list items can be displayed side by side. On smaller screens or mobile devices, you can stack them vertically.

It would be fantastic if the entries in each category were able to be grouped alphabetically or by color of the entries. For example, in my 'Locations,' category, I use eight different colors to denote subcategories of locations (oceans, mountains, cities, regions, etc), but because they are grouped alphabetically, entries that are similar in category (say, two cities) can be at completely different parts of the 'Locations' category, with unrelated entries between them. I've attached screenshots of how the categorization works currently, as well as what I envision in the Feature Request. To the maker of Novelcrafter, you are truly amazing! :D I've been waiting for the right utility using AI to assist with my writing for a verrry long time, and Novelcrafter is absolutely phenomenal! If this request gets implemented, NC will go from about a 9 on my scale to a 9.9 out of ten, as it is really the only thing missing in my workflow.

In the new color menu selection (at least, in Edge), you lose the color swatch in favor of the checkmark. Please consider either making the checkmark the appropriate color (and bold so it's more easily visible) or maybe superimpose the checkmark over the circle, or put the checkmark on the opposite side.

While it’s convenient to select models for each prompt, I generally use the same models across all my prompts. When I need to add a new model or change the parameters, I have to update the model list in every prompt individually. I would prefer to have a general model list that I can manage, containing all the models I want to use. In each prompt, I could then choose to either use an individual prompt model list or the general master model list. This approach would allow for the current flexibility of selecting specific models for a prompt, while also providing a general master list for all prompts. This way, I can update just one list and have it apply to all prompts that use it.

An option to Select part of the text then rewrite the selected part according to instructions, instead of just a simple rephrase.

Currently, I can chat with a scene, the outline of the entire novel. What about chatting with a chapter?

When working in the Tinker chat window, it would be nice to be able to include snippets (which may contain notes from elsewhere or bits from previous Tinker chats) as part of the current discussion. A workaround for now is to attach something like the following to a custom prompt and then executing that prompt: Our discussion is going to be about the following notes (which in the discussion will be referred to as the "notes"), keeping in mind that this is a work in progress, and that later elements in the notes may supersede earlier ones. Please remember and analyse all the notes below and give me a brief summary of them. <notes>{snippets.get("Notes (original)")}</notes> <notes>{snippets.get("World")}</notes>

Some prompts only make sense when the user can provide additional details or information beforehand that then get passed onto the instructions.

I often retry or switch between AI models during a single Tinker chat. But I also tend to forget when reviewing the chat which model generated which response. It would be great if there was a little unobtrusive tag or marker identifying the AI model that generated each response.

I would like to see a Prompt section for Snippets, these entries would have {...} functions expanded BEFORE being inserted into the main prompt. This would allow us to decouple our prompts and create re-usable building blocks. Currently using {...} in a Snippet used in a prompt will render something like this: {context.codex} . In the proposed feature, if the Snippet was tagged as a prompt Snippet, the {context.codex} would have already been expanded. Note: This would require a circular reference check to avoid infinite loops or a nesting level limit. Maybe a five-deep nesting level, which seems adequate for any use I can imagine. Initially, I was thinking Codex entry, but snippets are a better fit, I think.
