I am receiving this message in the settings under my OpenRouter connection: There was an error accessing your account. Please make sure the API-Key is correct. I have tried more than one key with the same result. I was generating prose with no issue and then it stopped working and I went into the settings to see that message. I have logged into OpenRouter separately and see no issues there.

Always scared this sort of problem is a 'me' problem but I've been using NC for months and never had this issue before. I can't seem to make NC connect with OR. All the steps seem to work as usual, but NC never seems to 'detect' the connection. I go to Prompts, > "Open AI Settings" > & select OpenRouter. Get taken to OR, log in, & authorize NC. It bumps me back to NC website > click “Go back Home”, but when I go back to Prompts, it’s still showing the "Open AI connection" button. I've tried about 10 times, reloaded, logged out and back in, and it's still doing it. (Using Firefox if it matters, & have lots of money in the OR account)

How can I make a ”blank” template, i.e. without acts or chapters? I write short stories and love novelcrafter, but can’t seem to get rid of acts or chapters headlines.

I've spent 4 hrs trying to get going. FOUR HOURS. Why is the site so cluttered? Terms are not explained. WHAT IS CODEX? WHAT IS A BEAT? You could have a step by step video to show precisely what each step is. Instead, it's words I've never heard of and no idea of what they mean. There is no step by step which can allow one to practice side by side. Frustrated customers will tell 21 people and those who love your program only three. Right now if ANYONE were to ask how I feel, it would be go somewhere, anywhere else. I've watched the nerdy novelist over and over and the ideas are fine, the teaching unbearable because you both presume far too much. Pen names are just one example of how you make it difficult. (state pen names and addresses are two different things esp. addresses.) Why should anyone have to spend an hour to find this out only to have to re-do personal information?? Just quit assuming the customer is knowledgeable. We aren't. We are trusting you and getting let down. Make it side by side, step by step tryout so we can get the feel vs. the feeling of defeat. Idea: Novelcrafter for the complete idiot!

Hi. I've started a novel inspired by the short stories of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but the instructions the AI, any AI, is getting is to follow every chapter as if I'm writing a long form novel. It keeps reaching back for irrelevant evidence from a previous story. This happened with both Toppy and Llama. I need to be able to treat each chapter as a short story, and I don't believe I know of a formatting option for that.

Wouldn't it be great if we could make sure we are getting everything we could get out of codex entries I want like a guideline or more detailed instructions to get the most out of codex entries. I See it having way more instructions.

I'm on mobile, so maybe this is a mobile glitch? But wanted to submit this just in case it's not. I joined at the hobbyist level, which really is the tinkerer level, and from that page where the plans are listed the hobbyist included AI. However once I logged back in and tried to use the chat feature, it says I have to upgrade to the next level. Maybe this has to do with the fact that I just reopened my paused subscription?

I'm trying to claim my Discord account but I am stuck with the message: "Email already registered."

My trial is about to expire, so I'm new to this. I think I'm using the workshop chat -- the chat that is not started by clicking "Chat with scene." No matter what context I set at the bottom, Full outline or pick a scene, the AI has no clue at all what I'm talking about when I refer to a scene or chapter. I have resorted to copying the full chapter scene summaries before asking for any assistance. It's the only way to get reliable answers. Is there anything I can do differently? I've attached two examples. Both of these were done with Llama 3 70b-instruct.
