Hi, i am using NC to organise Novels I wrote in Scrivener. I love the Codex etc but find writing frustrating. Capitalisation (auto), dots between letters (invisibles). I also would like strikeouts to carry over into docx exports as I am using strike outs to simulate crossing out in a journal.

Currently, if I create all categories as custom ones, I can collapse and sort them manually, but this approach isn’t ideal, it gets cumbersome with a large project and doesn’t allow for true hierarchical organization (subcategories within categories). Native support for sorting and collapsible, multi-level categories would make managing large codexes smoother.

It is frustrating to see, when multiple chats are open, the current message showing up on both chats. Additionally, when these are really long, they take up the entire screen (for pinned chats), and I cannot go back and read any of the past conversation, as the space is too small. Can you allow a minimization feature that hides the current human message?

Certain API parameters are not currently supported by NovelCrafter. It is impossible to control thinking mode on Gemini Flash or Anthropic Sonnet because the "max_tokens" parameter is not supported. Those two models always default to no reasoning. NovelCrafter should allow you to configure the max_tokens and other API parameters. What I mean by that is say my character is in several of my custom categories. However, in the codex, I will only ever see them listed under the first category in their entry. They won't come up under any of the others. I.E. They may have listed a job category, a friend group category, etc. in their codex but I will only ever see them listed under "Job" and none of the others.

Another request to be able to collapse what's visible in the grid view to just the info we choose (some sort of EXPAND settings). I wanted to just move a couple of chapters to after a few chapters later. As I have summaries of all my scenes, it almost always means each chapter takes up the full height of the screen. I have to drag and sloooowly scroll down the page until it finally gets to the area I want to move the chapter. It's incredibly frustrating and there's no easier way or view mode to do this sort of scene/chapter moving.

I would love the ability to edit chats like in chatgpt and playground. I find that I sometimes don't like the answers i'm getting and have to start the entire chat in another window. it would be great to just edit the chat.

In Scrivener, I assign each book character their own color, which I use for internal and external dialogue. It simplifies editing by visually seeing who is speaking, skipping through only reading dialogue in a particular color, rather than everyone's dialogue. Highlighting... is a separate function I use to draw my attention to something, and for me, is too much harsh color taking up the screen, to work with comfortably.

Snippets, codex entries, and chats appear sorted in order of newest to oldest. It would be nice if we could manually arrange them in the list in such a way as to be most efficient for us (e.g., I could drag my most important Snippets to the top of the Pinned category, etc...)

It's a super minor improvement but would help people like me with a million different Codex categories that are starting to get a little jumbled and making it harder to organize everything.
